It's a Boy!

Vincent LeGrand Coates was born on Saturday June 7th at 11:45 a.m. and weighed 5 lbs 12 ounces. He was 30 days early and his lungs were not fully developed. He is in the intensive care nursery where they are giving him oxygen as he needs it. He is a beautiful, healthy baby boy! The sunglasses in this picture were to protect his eyes from the phototherapy to help his jaundice.

Justin and Kandice are delighted about their new son. It is pure joy, that is all we can say!

Kandice enjoying time with her newborn son. You look happy Kandice!

Proudest Dad in the world.
Grandparents Coates and Turley have been so helpful with all of our needs. You guys mean the world to us!!! Thank you!

Our little angel, shortly after coming from heaven.

Mom's first time holding the baby. Kandice did great through her labor and delivery. She did not have an epidural because Vincent was on his way and there was no time. Nor did she have anything for pain after delivery. Wow, Kandice!

This is Vince during one of his feedings. He will come home from the hospital when he tolerates larger feedings, is gaining weight, and not needing oxygen. We love you Vincent and can't wait for you to come home!
