Belly Update
This is our stroller it only weighs 13 pounds.
Justin and Kandice decided to get a different car seat. The one we had was an all in one and we we need to get one that was easier to move. We got an extra base so we can have one in both cars. We are getting very excited to have our little one to put in all the wonderful things we have for our baby. Thursday, April 24, 2008
Baby Update
With the baby coming in 11 weeks, we decided to get busy acquiring some baby equipment. This crib will convert to a toddlers bed and then to a full sized bed.
We helped Brenda recover her old bassonette. We helped pick out the fabric and then Kandice and Brenda sewed it together. They taught Justin how to use a sewing machine. We are thankful that Bob and Brenda are allowing us to use it.
The cool swing that Colleen bought for us. It has a tropical rainforest theme and plays classical music. Thanks Colleen!
Kandice and Justin also completed a 5 week child-birthing class where they learned a lot of great information. Our favorite part was touring the labor and delivery floor of the hospital. There is a goose that lays her eggs every year right outside the window of the delivery floor. Smart bird!
House Update
The house is textured and painted. Kandice, Lynette, Colleen and other color savvy folks helped Mark and Justin pick out the color scheme.Old Ranch Barn
This barn is located to the west of Grandpa Coates' property. He used to milk cows here as a young man. Grandpa wanted pictures of this barn before it was demolished. As an update, he is doing very well after his latest surgery to install more lead wires from his defibrillator to his heart. I wonder if their work came with a "lifetime" warranty. =) (I got that joke from general conference)Thursday, April 3, 2008

Kandice had an appointment today. Here are some of the Sonogram pictures we got. The Doctor said that the baby is 2 lbs 2 oz. Everything is going good the baby looks good. We got to see most of the babies face the picture is a little fussy because the baby was up against the wall of the placenta but their still cute pictures.
